Can-SOLVE CKD Leadership Opportunity

The Can-SOLVE CKD Network is seeking a nephrologist and motivated kidney scientist to join its leadership team and help lead the network through Phase 2 and beyond. To promote network sustainability and succession planning, we are seeking an individual who:

  • Is passionate about patient-oriented research and ensuring the patient voice is at the centre.
  • Brings a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion to the work, through life experience, training, or education.
  • Is familiar with the kidney research landscape in Canada and committed to collaboration and capacity building.
  • Brings expertise or interest in knowledge mobilization and/or implementation science.

The individual will join the network’s leadership team and work with the co-leads to assume a graded responsibility for the network’s activities.


BC Kidney Check Project Nurse

The Kidney Check project is aimed at providing kidney health screening, triage and treatment referral in selected First Nations communities. The BC Kidney Check Project Nurse will work in collaboration with the Kidney Check Project Coordinator, to coordinate and implement the project in BC. He/she will perform nursing duties, work collaboratively with local community health teams and provide training and mentorship to these teams to develop on-site capacity to conduct the program.
