Celebrating 10 years of collaboration and impact

This spring, Can-SOLVE CKD marks 10 years of advancing patient-oriented kidney research across Canada. Over the past decade, the network has grown into a national community of patients, researchers, clinicians, and partners working together to drive meaningful change in kidney health.

Together, we have launched 27 research projects, built key research infrastructure, and strengthened partnerships across the country. A transplant journey that’s helping expand support in Québec

A brother and sister’s transplant journey has come full circle—helping bring peer support for kidney patients to Québec for the first time. Through the Transplant Ambassador Program, Serge and Christine Pisapia are connecting with those considering living donation and offering insight, reassurance, and hope when it matters most.

In memory of Darrell Ross Jr.

The Can-SOLVE CKD Network mourns the passing of Darrell Ross Jr., a dedicated advocate for Indigenous health and a valued member of the Indigenous Peoples’ Engagement and Research Council. Darrell also contributed to BC Kidney Check, helping to advance kidney health in Indigenous communities. Please visit his In Memoriam page to share your thoughts and memories of Darrell.
