This spring, Can-SOLVE CKD marks 10 years of advancing patient-oriented kidney research across Canada. Over the past decade, the network has grown into a national community of patients, researchers, clinicians, and partners working together to drive meaningful change in kidney health.
Together, we have launched 27 research projects, built key research infrastructure, and strengthened partnerships across the country. With continued support from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and our valued partners, the network has evolved into a $50M+ research initiative grounded in collaboration and shared purpose.
At the heart of this work are our Patient Governance Council and Indigenous Peoples’ Engagement and Research Council, whose leadership continues to shape our approach and ensure that patient voices and Indigenous perspectives remain central to everything we do.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to advancing equitable, people-centred research and strengthening our impact across Canada. Thank you to all who have contributed to this journey — your partnership continues to shape what comes next.
