June is National Indigenous History Month, and June 21 marks National Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

This month, we are highlighting stories from across the Can-SOLVE CKD Network that reflect the many ways Indigenous patient partners, Knowledge Keepers, researchers, and communities are working together to strengthen kidney health research and care.

From reflections on the legacy of the Indigenous Peoples’ Engagement and Research Council (IPERC) to examples of how Indigenous partnerships are shaping research projects today, this issue explores the relationships, perspectives, and shared learning that continue to inform our work and the ongoing journey toward meaningful engagement and reconciliation.
