Honouring Métis knowledge
In part two of our distinctions-based health series, Métis advocate Catherine Turner shares her journey of rediscovering her Red River Métis heritage and calls for culturally specific care. Learn how history, identity, and tradition shape Métis health and why tailored approaches matter.
Coming together for Living Donation Week 2025
From September 7-13, 2025, the University Health Network’s Centre for Living Organ Donation will host Living Donation Week, an annual event to raise awareness of the benefits of living kidney and living liver donation, share the stories of living donors and transplant recipients, and inspire more people to become living donors.
This year, the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program (CDTRP) and Can-SOLVE CKD are teaming up to share stories and resources around living donation. Make sure to follow us on social media and help spread the word!
