2023 Can-SOLVE CKD Network Annual Meeting   

The 2023 Can-SOLVE CKD Annual Meeting takes place May 7 – 9 in Halifax, NS. We are very excited to connect next month in person with network members.

The meeting will focus on celebrating the accomplishments of Phase 1, setting up success in Phase 2, and sharing resources and tools developed by the network to enhance patient-oriented research.

CNTN at CSN  

The Canadian Nephrology Trials Network is excited to be present in Halifax at the Canadian Society of Nephrology AGM. The CNTN Research Symposium will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 8 am – 11 am AST. This is a great opportunity to learn about what CNTN has been up to, where we are going, and how to get involved. The event will include research presentations.

Make sure to come visit us at our booth and take some of our new CNTN promotional material!

Joint Symposium highlights patient engagement success stories 

The CANA/Can-SOLVE CKD/CSN Joint Symposium takes place on Thursday, May 11 from 10:30 am – 11:55 am AST as part the Canadian Society of Nephrology AGM in Halifax, NS. The session titled “Nephrology and Patient Partners: Successes and Building Relationships” will be moderated by patient partner Mary Beaucage followed by a patient story between Dr. David Collister and patient partner Arlene Desjarlais. Drs. Adeera Levin and James Scholey will provide an in-depth overview of Can-SOLVE CKD over the past 7 years. The session will conclude with a panel discussion with patient partner David Hillier, Drs. Levin and Scholey and Janet Graham (CANA).
