Our mission is to generate new knowledge that will improve the kidney health of all Canadians.

We do this through a robust research program built around the experiences, priorities, and perspectives of our diverse patient partner community. Our research projects aim to diagnose kidney disease earlier, create new treatments to improve patients’ quality of life, and understand the best ways to deliver patient-centred care.
