Introducing the new cansolveckd.ca
We are thrilled to announce that our new website is now live! With a clean, easy-to-read design, the new site offers a wealth of information about the network’s impact on kidney research and patient engagement. It also highlights Can-SOLVE CKD Phase 2 activities and includes an updated archive of all research publications to date.
World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Education
The World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Education is the largest and most diverse Indigenous education forum in the world with representation from 90 countries. The conference took place from September 26-30 in Tandarnya (Adelaide, Australia) on the lands of the Kaurna Nation.
Indigenous Peoples’ Engagement and Research Council co-chair Helen Robinson-Settee and Knowledge Keeper Dr. Mary Wilson presented on Knowledge Keepers in Research and Wabishki Bizhiko Skaanj Learning Pathway.
Cultural competency provides continued learning
The University of British Columbia Learning Circles hosted a webinar featuring Can-SOLVE CKD Cultural Competency Manager Craig Settee and Indigenous Liaison Manager Catherine Turner on October 25. The webinar was titled « Co-building cultural competency and Indigenous engagement in the Can-SOLVE CKD Network. »
