Annual meeting celebrates successes, looks ahead to new opportunities

The 2023 Can-SOLVE CKD Annual Meeting took place May 7 – 9 in Halifax. After four long years apart, our team finally had the opportunity to reunite in-person. Researchers, patient partners, policy-makers and funders from coast to coast came together in Halifax – the ancestral land of the Mi’kmaq people – to celebrate the end of Phase 1 and to look ahead to what the future brings with Phase 2.

Network members share stories and inspire change at major national conference

A diverse panel of Can-SOLVE CKD members took the stage at the Canadian Nephrology Society Annual General Meeting to emphasize the importance of including patient partners in the research process.

The panel discussion was part of a special symposium jointly organized by Can-SOLVE CKD, the Canadian Society of Nephrology, and the Canadian Association of Nephrology Administrators.
